Hello there, in this video we’ll show you how to deactivate a beneficiary in the SBI Yono Lite app. If you are an SBI Bank customer who uses SBI internet banking or mobile banking, you would be well aware of the situation.
To transfer payments using SBI internet banking via mobile application or web browser, we must first add a beneficiary. For each beneficiary, we can additionally establish a transfer limit. However, there are situations when we do not need to use some benefits. We want to remove the beneficiary from the beneficiary list under those circumstances.
Furthermore, we occasionally add a beneficiary for a single transaction. After that, we don’t use that beneficiary. The recipient should also be removed from SBI net banking.
How To Delete Beneficiary in SBI Yono App
The following steps will show you how to delete a beneficiary in SBI net banking. Follow the steps below.
Step1: First, open the Yono Lite mobile application on your phone.
Step2: After launching the application, login with your SBI internet banking MPIN or user ID and password.
Step3: After logging in to your account, you’ll see the application’s dashboard. There is a Fund Transfer option here. Select Fund Transfer from the drop-down menu.
Step4: Under the Fund Transfer section, you will see a choice of alternative possibilities. You must locate and select the ‘Add/Manage Beneficiary’ option.
Step5: You’ll be redirected to a new page. Here you must enter the password for your internet banking profile. Click the ‘Submit’ button after entering your SBI profile password.
Step6: You will be redirected to another page after submitting the profile password. You must choose between ‘other bank account’ and ‘State Bank Account’ as the beneficiary type. If your beneficiary account belongs to a bank other than SBI, choose ‘other bank account,’ and if it’s an SBI account, choose ‘State Bank Account.’
Step7: A list of recipients according to the specified kind will now appear. The beneficiaries will also have a bin icon next to them. Select the trashcan next to the beneficiary you want to remove.
Step8: A message will appear in a pop-up window. ‘Do you truly want to erase the beneficiary details?’ it asks. Select the ‘Yes’ option.
Step9:A message will appear stating that the ‘beneficiary details have been successfully erased.’
