How To Change Nominee in SBI Online

There are two steps that you must follow. The first step is to remove the current nominee and then create a new one. We’ll go over both steps in depth.

Step A- Cancel nominee in SBI account

Log in to SBI net banking using your login id and password. https://onlinesbi.com

From the login page, go to the main menu and select Requests & Enquiries.

Click the Online Nomination option on the new page.

Select the Cancel Nomination tab on the next page, and then choose a saving or deposit account from the list on the screen.

Now, on the next page, click the I accept the Terms and Conditions button, and then the Submit button.

Your registered mobile number will now receive an OTP. On the screen, enter the OTP and click the Confirm button.

Based on the time of application, you should now get the notification Nomination is scheduled for cancellation OR your nomination is canceled.

Wait until the present nominee has been withdrawn. You will not be able to modify the nominee in your SBI account till then.

Step B – Add a new nominee to your SBI account.

You can navigate to the Register tab from the page once the nominee has been canceled.

Then choose an account number (saving or deposit).

Fill out the nomination details on the new page, including the nominee’s name, relationship to the account holder, and nominee’s address.

Your registered mobile number will receive an OTP. On the screen, enter the OTP and then click the Confirm button.

The nominee will be added to your account and linked to it.
